We booked a hotel in the middle of Old Town, right in the heart of the city. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The inclusive laundry service was helpful since we were traveling for a while.
The hotel was old and a bit run down. The shower setup was awkward, with the toilet in close proximity.

Great Cultural Hostel
This hostel has an authentic Chinese vibe to it, with traditional decor and architecture. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is central, with easy access to public transport and local shops. One of the best aspects was the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. We also appreciated the laundry service, which was convenient and free of charge.
While the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the glass wall between the bed and toilet was a bit odd and made us feel uncomfortable. The bathroom layout was also a bit unconventional and cramped.
